AOS Signs Sponsorship contract with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave

AOS Studley just signed a sponsorship contract with Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to support the remarkable ascension of France's top chess player. According to Gilles Betthaeuser, a true chess enthusiast, "we wish to help Maxime reach the highest international level. Through his mastery of creative and precise games, we see a parallel between Maxime's skill and the AOS Studley group motto, 'Executing Complexity'".

Maxime is a precocious chess genius: he has been playing since age five, and at 13 won his first French champion title in the under-20 category. Today, at 19, he has numerous titles under his belt from prestigious tournaments in which he faced top-ten international players, such as Boris Gelfand and Alexander Morozevich.

Currently ranked 18th worldwide, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave has earned the title of Grand Master, the most prestigious distinction in the chess world, and last year won the world junior championships.

The sponsorship, which provides support for an initial three-year period, should allow Maxime to hire a team of assistants, better understand the approach to very high-level tournaments, and participate in the largest competitions under the best conditions. Experts are already excited for his scheduled duel with the world's top player, Norwegian prodigy Magnus Carlsen, also 19 years old.

"Promote risk taking, support learning, and encourage humility: the values held by the chess world are a source of vital inspiration for AOS Studley. Each real estate project requires us to excel in the art of anticipation, to consider and combine a very large number of factors, and to succeed in a complex environment," underlined Gilles Betthaeuser when the partnership was signed.
