Company History

AOS was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Paris with more than 400 consultants, including architects, engineers, IT specialists, economists, interior designers, and project managers.

In the US, AOS USA, Inc. was formerly Facility Resources, which was founded in 1987 to provide facility management services, primarily relocation management, to large corporations in the Southeast. During the 1990s the company expanded its service offering in the US, adding computer-aided facility management (CAFM) and site management (outsourcing) capabilities. The customer list grew to include some of the best-known organizations in the US. In 2000 Facility Resources merged with DBAssociates, a real estate consulting and facility management firm based in Brussels, Belgium. DBAssociates merged with AOS in 2004. AOS USA, Inc. is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with a major branch in Charlotte, NC, and satellite locations in Baton Rouge, LA; Raleigh, NC; and Washington, DC.

AOS has become successful by remaining focused on providing exemplary, comprehensive advisory services to users of space.  In addition to being global, AOS understands local practices in the markets it serves and is well equipped to assist multinational companies with their real estate requirements.
